LISTEN TO UNDERSTAND
Defend freedom of expression and cultural diversity, agiving preference always to dialogue and listening without engaging in fanaticism, defamation and the rejection of others.

Volunteer Your Time

Volunteering opportunities as of March 21, 2004:

  • Making contacts/phone calls,
  •  writing information packets,
  •  improving outline of organization, editing website,
  •  creating a contest for CATG, and designing postcards to send out to notify people of the Organization
  • writing grants for supporting organization
  • placing orders for fundraiser with Divine Chocolate
  • writing letters to contacts about the organization- getting other youth involved
  • Contacting and writing letters to the people who signed up for more information about YPW and the Fair Trade project
  • Help us write a newspaper for schools around Wisconsin

Donations are always appreciated, no matter how little the amount is, it gets us further on our way to doing more fun things!

Write a Letter or Sign a Petition

there are many letter-writing opportunities for you to check out, you can just search around for things you're interested in or do not like in the newspaper, and write your congressman or representative about it! Heck! Write the president about it! Also, if you are interested in any of the following things, please contact Abby at youth4peace@msn.com, and tell her what you would like to write about, and she'll help you find something related to that that you can write about!
- animal rights
- environmental rights
- problems with the military
- Fair Trade issues
- reenacting the military draft in schools
- nuclear power plants in Wisconsin
- war and violence
- torturing people in our country and in other countries
- the Iraq War
- other--- please specify
